Sonskrif - Patrick Luke Seaman

Musician / Producer

Founding member of Sandmen (89-95), Akrasi (97-07), Official Burnt Toast (08-18)

I grew up in Cornwall and moved to Manchester aged 18 starting a musical journey that's seen me relocate to London and a vocation that's lasted over 30 years. Specialising in writing, arranging, recording. audio engineering, programming, playing and singing. I am self-sufficient, managing, releasing & producing as Sonskrif

What am I most proud of?
Most recently, being commissioned by Mark Stewart (RIP) to help him create The Lost Tapes (a re-imagining of Mark & The Maffia's Learning To Cope With Cowardice album) part of Mute Records 40th Anniversary reissue (Mute, 2018) Also I have good memories of my first band Sandmen who supported The Fall on & off for five years as well as touring with Inspiral Carpets. We played Manchester Free Trade Hall, Hacienda, Clapham Grand, Brixton Fridge and appeared on Tony Wilson's Granada TV arts review show The Other Side Of Midnight (the only unsigned Manchester band to do so), recorded a John Peel Session at BBC Maida Vale plus touring in our own right in UK/Europe
